The key staff members of ARQ & Partners have been involved in the design, design review and construction of more than 20 flood protection and groundwater recharge dams in Oman, 6 in Yemen and more than 10 in Saudi Arabia during their time in Oman. Recent Dam Project include Jurf and Saay Flood Protection dams in Duqm. These dams were subjected to Hikaa Tropical Cyclone during construction and did not suffer damage.
Bartel Haupt was the dam engineer for the design and construction of two dams on Wadi Assarain while employed by Renardet. Both dams have sustained several significant rainfall events without damage.
